You need to have PT license to work. Every state has different rules, there is lot of paper work involved to sit for license exam. For Indians, mostly it was easy for Michigan, New york. For present scenario better check physicaltherapyforum.com, very good info avaliable

You don't have to worry about it, if you e-file. When you e-file, the version of the forms that gets filled out by USCIS is way old. I am sure its a bug but I guess USCIS will accept it because it was e-filed.

I have a request / concern / what ever you would say.
Please do not cirtize if you do not like the idea, just ignore and leave the thread.
There are so many people comming to IV for other experts guidance on different things mainly on H1B status, AC21 status, AP, FP, EAD and H4 to EAD, .....
Why don't you create a general guide lines or rules or do's and don't or QA's for each topic, so that each member or visitor who come to IV can atleast go through them before asking or posting quesitons.
You can create a survery for different kinds of questions people / members / visitors might ask or have fore each topic before creating the thread so that we can have a pool of questions and answers for each topic from experts or attorney answered. (you might say we have recordings from attorney Prashanti Reddy, but it would be good if we have some thing which can be referred easily i.e., typed.
These are just some of my thoughts, it can or cannot be implemented. It depeneds on IV admins/Gurus/Experts on this forum.
Gurus, please provide your thoughts.

Is premium processing option available for the this change of status?
Friend worked till last week of pregnancy (clean H1 history before). Her 12 weeks of maternity leave is ending soon and looks like the family needs to pay attention to child's condition and she has no choice but to become a full-time mom (another full-time job in itself though). She was in status during her maternity leave (some part of which was covered by STD insurance, remaining unpaid leave totaling 12 weeks under FMLA). She needs to change her status from H1 to H4.

Here is my case:
With Company A, my H-1B extension was filed on 8/22/2010, under regular processing.
My I-94 expiry date was 9/30/2010.
With Company B, H-1B transfer was filed on 10/2/2010 filed under Premium Processing
Received RFE on H-1B transfer. Responded on 10/22/2010.
Current status of H-1B transfer case is "RFE response review". No decision yet.
Meanwhile I got an RFE on H-1B extension on 10/25/2010.
1. How is the RFE on H-1B extension with Company A going to affect my H-1B transfer to Company B?
2. Should the H-1B extension be Approved before getting a decision on the H-1B transfer?
3. I read in a forum that unless my H-1B extension is approved, I will not get an I-94 with H-1B transfer approval (since it was filed after my I-94 expiry). Is this correct?

tom friedman doesn't know about the details of this issue..... for him immigration means more h1b visa..... he doesn't have a clue @ gc mess...... there r others who have done research on this subject.... but those studies did not get as much attention.... maybe others need to come up with a shape... lets pick one.... lets say "earth is rhombus".... and then publish these reports... that might help catch some attention....

Returning to the US after living abroad for 9 years and need to know what is the best process for my wife to re-apply for green card.
History:
My wife and I have been married for 20 years, own a home in the US and have one child who holds a US passport. While living in the US my wife held a Green Card. However, when we moved she surrendered the card. Now we are returning to the US and she need to get the Green Card once again. Does she need to apply as if this is the first time or is there an application or process for previous residents or Green Card holders?

You would require copy of the approval notice of 140 from the old company.
In the new company, you would need to file a new labor via PERM. Once it is approved, you would need to file a new 140 and use the copy of the old approved 140 to port your priority date.

Hello, I am an INdian citizen currently workin in the US on an H1-B visa. I need to travel to Europe for leisure in the month of April. I wanted to go to the Bern Consulate to go and get the stamping done for my H1-B renewal on my passport. I wanted to ask if anyone has gone to Bern to get their H1-B stamped and can share their experience?
Also, do you recommend that I go to Canada or Mexico instead? I have heard ppl saying that you should go to your home country or Mexico/CAnada. ANy experiences that you can share with the Canadaian/Mexican US consulates would be appreciated as well.

So the letter is just an employment continuation or verification letter and has nothing that states the spousal details or spouse's intention to accompany the H1 holder. I hope I got that right.
